No one should be forced to live with a substsance addiction alone. Substance abuse occurs in all different types of people, young or old, male or female, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or socioeconomic status. 

 

It can seem impossible to quit.

 

The feelings of loneliness and failure seem insurmountable.

 

Asking for help makes us feel weak.

The purpose of this project is to offer some basic insight into the different types of substance abuse treatment that are available. From important terms, benefits of different treatment options, and even local and national treatment resources, this project is just the first step to finding ways to change our lives for the better.
